Oct '26 dividend portfolio update: AIM income champions
Two of my AIM dividend stocks issued results in October, including a business that's just celebrated 50 years of unbroken dividend growth.
October was a relatively quiet period for results from my model dividend portfolio. Only two of my companies issued results during the period – a manufacturer and a niche biotech. Both are AIM-listed stocks.
Each of these businesses boasts above-average quality metrics and offers a dividend yield of around 7%. The catch is that they've both seen revenue fall over the last couple of years. A combination of internal and external circumstances mean that both are struggling to deliver much – if any – earnings growth.
The risk is that both firms could become classic value traps.
The opportunity is that they will be able to return to sustainable growth over the next few years, justifying a re-rating and supporting further income growth.
I've topped up both positions over the last year, so my view is clear enough. Read on to see what you think.
Quick reminder: my model dividend portfolio broadly mirrors the shares in my main personal portfolio, although position sizing and prices paid will vary for practical reasons.
